Playlists - 38wks

I love music -- LOVE MUSIC -- there is very little I won't happily listen to, in the right mood. As a teen, I was a huge fan of the mix tape. As an adult, that translated into mix discs for friends. Many a road trip has featured a carefully-crafted mix-disc (or twelve).

Why should homebirth be an exception?

With my third child, I opted to listen to a favourite disc on repeat -- I spent much of that labour singing and slow dancing through contractions to Crowded House's "Recurring Dream" -- but this time I wanted something more varied. That translated into a massive playlist on my laptop which I eventually split into two lists: early labour and active labour.

At the request of a couple friends, I turned them into Youtube video playlists (as much as possible -- not everything was available on Youtube) and am posting them here for your enjoyment:
