The love of a good book is a gift I want to pass along to my boys. Every year, I take a great deal of pleasure in planning what books will be under the tree on Christmas morning. I start making my long list in January, cut it in half by August, and whittle it down to a dozen or so by November. This is what was under our tree for Christmas 2013...

This guy on the internet wrote about doing this morally questionable thing, and the masses rejoiced. Then, unable to keep up the facade, this guy then posts that it was all a hoax. But who was hoaxed?

Keeping On Keepin' On

Today is Pregnancy And Infant Loss Remembrance Day. I have never marked this day in the past. I'm not terribly sentimental about this sort of thing, having had several miscarriages over the past number of years, but all the memorial posts and such in my Facebook news feed and Twitter stream this morning came at a bit of a bad time.
